Thank you for supporting Marlow FM through our Style a Tile fundraising campaign! For £19.75, you can create your own design to be professionally printed onto a 10 × 10 cm ceramic tile, which will form part of a permanent display in the Marlow FM radio studio. To ensure the display is enjoyable and appropriate for everyone, the following Terms & Conditions apply.
1. Design Guidelines
- Designs may include names, personal messages, illustrations, photographs, business logos or original artwork.
- Designs must not contain offensive, obscene, discriminatory, defamatory, threatening or otherwise inappropriate language or imagery.
- Designs must not promote hatred, violence, illegal activities or extremist views.
- Political campaigning, party-political slogans and material likely to cause serious offence will not be accepted.
- All designs must be suitable for display in a community radio station accessible to people of all ages.
- You must own the rights to any artwork, photographs or logos submitted, or have permission from the copyright owner to use them.
2. Approval of Designs
- Marlow FM reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to reject or decline to display any submitted design that it considers unsuitable or inconsistent with the values of the station.
- Marlow FM’s decision regarding the suitability of a design will be final.
- Marlow FM may request changes to a design before accepting it.
- Minor adjustments may be made to accommodate printing requirements, but significant changes will not be made without consultation.
- If a design is rejected, the purchaser will be offered the opportunity to submit an alternative design or receive a full refund.
3. Printing and Display
- Each approved design will be professionally printed onto a ceramic tile measuring approximately 10 × 10 cm.
- Colours and fine details may vary slightly from the original digital design.
- Marlow FM will determine the position and arrangement of tiles within the studio display.
- Tiles will remain the property of Marlow FM once installed.
- Although the display is intended to be permanent, Marlow FM cannot guarantee that individual tiles will remain in place indefinitely. Tiles may need to be moved or removed due to refurbishment, relocation, damage or operational requirements.
- The purchase of a tile does not confer any ownership rights over the studio, display or installation.
4. Payment and Refunds
- The cost of each tile is £19.75, payable by PayPal before the design is uploaded.
- Proceeds, after associated costs, will support Marlow FM.
- If Marlow FM declines a design and an acceptable alternative cannot be agreed, a full refund will be provided.
- Once a design has been approved and sent for printing, cancellations or changes of mind will not normally be eligible for a refund, subject to applicable consumer rights.
- Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects your statutory rights.
5. Copyright and Permissions
- By submitting a design, you confirm that you have the necessary rights and permissions for its use.
- You retain ownership of the copyright in your original design.
- You grant Marlow FM a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to reproduce, print and publicly display your design as part of the Style a Tile project.
- You also permit Marlow FM to photograph and reproduce images of the completed tile and display for publicity, promotional and fundraising purposes, including on its website and social media.
- Marlow FM will not be responsible for copyright infringement arising from material submitted without the necessary permissions, except where the law provides otherwise.
6. Personal Information
- Any personal information provided will be used to administer the Style a Tile campaign, process orders and contact purchasers where necessary.
- Personal information will be handled in accordance with Marlow FM’s privacy policy and applicable data protection legislation.
- Purchasers should be aware that any names, messages or personal information included within their tile design will be publicly visible to people viewing the display and may appear in photographs used for publicity.
7. General Conditions
- Submission of a design and payment constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
- Marlow FM reserves the right to amend, suspend or discontinue the campaign where reasonably necessary.
- If Marlow FM is unable to produce or display an accepted tile, the purchaser will be offered an appropriate remedy, including a refund where applicable.
8. Gifts and Children
- If you buy a tile as a gift, you are responsible for making sure the person who designs it agrees to these Terms & Conditions.
- Designs created by anyone under 18 must be submitted with the permission of a parent or guardian.
- If your design includes a photograph of an identifiable person, you confirm that they have agreed to its use.
