How it works
Pay first, then design at your own pace. Your tile code is the key to your tile.

Buy a tile
£19.75 with PayPal. You don’t need a PayPal account – you can pay by card.

Get your code
We email you a 12-character tile code straight away. Check your junk folder if it’s shy.

Enter it & design
Click “Got a tile code?” and type it in, then upload and crop a photo, drawing, name or message.

See it on the wall
We print it on ceramic and fix it to the studio kitchen wall. We’ll email you a photo of your tile once it’s up.
The ideal gift
Give someone a tile
A gift that’s a bit different, even for friends and family who never visit the studios. Buy a tile and we’ll give you a code. Then it’s up to you:
- Make a printable gift voucher with the code on it, plus a message to them. Email it or print it and pop it in a card.
- They type the code in and design their own tile. Nothing more to pay.
- Or keep it a surprise and design it for them yourself.

How big is 10 cm?
About the size of a drinks coaster. A bit wider than a credit card. Big enough for a bold picture or a short message. Your tile will be fixed to the studio kitchen wall, so keep any text short and chunky to make it easy to read from across the room.

Designs need to suit a community radio station that people of all ages visit. We check every design, and if we can’t accept one you can send a new one or have your money back. Please read the terms and conditions.

Payments are handled securely by PayPal. As soon as you’ve paid, we’ll email you your tile code and a design link – check your junk folder if it doesn’t arrive in a few minutes.
Questions
Where do I put my tile code?
On the “Got a tile code?” page – there’s a button at the top of this page. It has three boxes of four letters and numbers, like K7MQ-4XPD-9RTA. Capitals or small letters both work, and you can paste the whole code into the first box.
My code isn’t working
Check each part for look-alikes. Codes never contain the letters O, I or L, or the numbers 0 or 1. If you’ve tried several wrong codes in a row you may need to wait a few minutes before trying again. Still stuck? Get in touch with Marlow FM and we’ll sort it out.
I can’t find my code
It was emailed to the address on your PayPal account as soon as you paid, with the subject “Design your Marlow FM tile”. Check your junk folder too.
Where will the tile go?
On the wall of the studio kitchen at Marlow FM. Tiles remain the property of Marlow FM, and the display is intended to be permanent.
Can I use a photo?
Yes. Photos print well when they are sharp and have good contrast. Colours may vary slightly from what you see on screen.
I don’t have a computer. Can I still take part?
Yes. Ask a Marlow FM volunteer for a paper template, draw your design in the box, and we’ll scan it for you.
Where does the money go?
Proceeds, after the cost of the tile and fees, support Marlow FM.
